We're on the Road Again! NSCC 2025
We were delighted to attend #NSCC25 in beautiful Llandudno with our colleagues Amy Lewis and Daniel Simmonds, representing Just Checking alongside so many passionate people in health and social care. The theme, “Positive connections: growing resilient communities with people and technology,” really reflected the spirit of the event, with community, connection, and collaboration at the heart of every conversation.
Hearing from inspiring speakers like Albert Heaney CBE and Stephen Vickers reminded us of the power of working with communities, not just for them, and how technology can help enable that shift. The personal stories shared by Melvin Jones and Ali Alcock were deeply moving and brought home why we all do what we do, supporting people to live with dignity, care and love.
The energy throughout the week was incredible, from the thoughtful discussions and the launch of DiSC Cymru to the creative performances and music that made the evenings so memorable. We left inspired by the innovation and commitment across Wales to create a social care system that truly connects people and empowers communities.
It was a motivating and hopeful week, and thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us about how Just Checking is helping services do more with less. Wales continues to lead with heart, collaboration and bold ideas, and we’re proud to be part of that journey.
