Just Checking at The International Telecare and Telehealth Conference: Challenging the Notion of ‘Care on the Cheap’

Jessica Dunne, Occupational Therapist at Dorset County Council, will be presenting her findings using Just Checking at The International Telecare and Telehealth Conference 2012 to be held in November.

Titled ‘Challenging the Notion of ‘Care on the Cheap’ in Learning Disabilities Services,’ the break out session will discuss how Dorset managed to face the enormous pressure to reduce costs, whilst ensuring that care quality was maintained. This was done by using a combination of activity monitoring, creative use of support hours, and telecare to manage risks and alert staff.

Just Checking will also be hosting an exhibition stand for the 3 days of the conference. We’d love to talk with you, so please come and introduce yourself if you see us!
