Apply for a free TEC assessment with Just Checking

Just Checking is offering 20 care services across the UK a FREE tech enabled care assessment to help analyse current support and make recommendations about how digital technology can help deliver the best care.

We have been helping social care professionals deliver the right levels of care and support for almost 20 years.

Our digital sensor technology has carried out thousands of comprehensive care assessments during this time, and helped people with learning disabilities, autism, dementia and other complex needs to live more independently.

A difficult time for social care

We know that the past two years have been challenging for social care services, and the current care recruitment crisis shows no sign of improving.

But working with our clients during this time, we’ve seen the hugely positive impact tech enabled care has had. We’ve seen first hand how the in-depth care assessments that the Just Checking system provides have helped improve outcomes for people, and the effectiveness of support staff.

What will happen during the free assessment

Just Checking staff will visit each site and hold a thorough assessment session. This will involve:

  • Individual profile meetings with experienced social care professionals to understand specific support needs
  • A site survey to understand how technology can support the service
  • Full installation of our award-winning digital sensor technology
  • Four weeks of monitoring data recorded and analysed
  • De-installation of the technology at the end of the trial
  • A summary report and personalised recommendations

Who should apply

This assessment would be most suitable for supported living services with single occupancy tenancies on one site, which house people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs.

How do I apply

To apply for a free assessment, please click here

Please note the deadline for applications is 31st July 2022

We will choose the most suitable sites with a maximum of 20 people eligible for assessment per site. The assessment will be conducted before the end of 2022.

Am I obliged to pay for anything during or after the assessment?

No. We will give our recommendations for the technology that should be used but it is up to the service to decide next steps.
