At a glittering awards ceremony on the 31st June, Just Checking won Touch FM’s Pride of Warwick District ‘Business of the Year’ award, a great accolade which recognises our business performance, positive customer relationships and value to our users.

Having pitched against hundreds of organisations from across the region, we were delighted when we found out Just Checking had been shortlisted alongside three other businesses. A panel of judges reviewed the success of all four companies on their growth, sustainability, investment in staff and the impact they had on the local community.

Our business has grown significantly over the past year, with eight new job roles created, and a new product line launched that’s now being used by local authorities across the UK.

Simon Price, founder and Director, took the chance to thank the Just Checking team for their hard work which has brought the company to where we are today.

Talking about the award to Touch FM, Simon said “The service we provide helps to ensure that people with dementia or learning disabilities get the support they need to be able to live in their own home, and this award could mean we are able to help even more people.

It’s something that we will talk to all our clients about, but perhaps even more importantly, it will shine a light on what we do and how we work and raise awareness in the local area.

As we continue to grow, the award recognition will help us to recruit more high-quality people to join the team. It will also mean that more people in our area will know about the service we offer and how it could perhaps support their family member or friend.”
