Who are we?
We provide activity monitoring services that help vulnerable people stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
Our goal is to help care professionals complete objective, evidence-based needs assessments that enable them to offer individuals the right support at the right time.
We achieve this by combining brilliant technology with exceptional service and fantastic people. Our web-based care needs assessment tool is used by over 80% of local authorities across the UK to ensure older adults and adults with learning disabilities live independently and have an active role in their community.
We’re a growing team of 30 people, all dedicated to improving the quality of life of vulnerable people. The company is based in canal-side offices in the Warwickshire countryside, with easy access to Solihull and the motorway.
About the role
As a software developer, you’ll report directly to the head of technical and work alongside our existing development team, sharing a mixed load of support, maintenance, new product development, and R&D. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with internal stakeholders at all levels, gathering specifications and delivering projects alongside the rest of the team, sometimes to tight timeframes.
Your experience with various technologies will enable you to manage whole projects, from conception to completion, and launch products and services that will directly benefit local authorities and vulnerable people throughout the country.
Experience with the mobile web is also a strong advantage.
A large proportion of our work relates to the handling and processing of raw data, so you should be confident with databases, specifically SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Strong experience with other databases will be considered. You must also be confident with:
- Common Table Expressions
- Window Functions (LAG, LEAD etc)

- Android Development
- Arduino or other Electronics experience
